Thought the Miroukos -spelling???- had the rebounding trigger design like the last win. The fit and finish including machinig varies with the rossi's, but the latter ones arn't bad. Just as a side note, if your gun can handel the 454 it's not whimpy junk
Dave
Agreed we are up s'''''t creek without a paddle and you all have the right to act as you feel is right. The other part of the equation is the economy which can be used by dems to justify all sorts of liberal programs that garner their future support. Both hussain and the witch are promising to tax a...

The dems got the money in the race where they get it? You think they want a middle class? Doubt it- their way is the rulers and the ruled.
No good way out of this, but being involved and pushing for conservatisim is better than laying around complaining
Dave
My experience with the 45 is that a new link will not fix it. The 45 has the smallist rim lip of the pistil calibers. Raising the height of the stop projection did not fix it either. The next step will be to move the stop projection on the link slightly forward-too many unfinished projects. Have two...
Don't trust a profession that uses drugs and electric shock to treat symptoms rather than developing the knowledge to work on the causes. Think these methodes will go the way of blood letting when the knowledge and financial incentives exist. Right now you can have the sports cars,2-3 homes and a gr...
Tycer glad you came on. Was that 1.85 with the group buy GC cast 180? My reg 357 case loads with the speer 180 gr 358 rifle bullet are around 1.84 and this gives .070 more case capacity than the rem jkt 180 hp pistol bullet. With the 360 case and the rifle bullets, the total length would be over 2 i...
Bought one used as a 22 scope-came in the 4x compact box not marked as 22. Not shure, but wonder if the new 200$ 22 scope isn't the same package but with the 50 yd parallax? What Parallax did the old compact have. This 22 scope has really fine cross hairs. Could it just be the compact?
Dave
All my 357 Rifles-Marlin, Win, and rossi have long throut's to handle longer cartridges. The marlin and the rossi can be finagled for a little over the !.6 magnum overall length. The rossi is factory enabled to handel the 454 casual, so I,m shure the 357 could so be modified. In the case of the 94 w...
Hmm-Never knew anything about it an in my own yard?? Well you don't need to have a permit to carry to missuse a gun, just the availability. Sooo next guess the sheriff wants to determin who can own a gun based on his opinion  In Iowa the sheriff's vary widely from a shall issue attitude to coun...

Clearly, the author of the citizenship clause intended to count "foreigners," "aliens," and those born to "ambassadors or foreign ministers" as outside the "jurisdiction of the United States." They have citizenship in another country, and this is an EXEMPTION ...
16.8 ww 296 -ww mag primer-158 gr hdy HP Actually developed and tested this load with the old hdy jhp with exposed lead nose and dan wesson 6 in revolver-very accurate. Did chrono in both 24 in and 18 1/2 in marlins and if memory serves correct they were both in the 1800's and can't be shure, but th...
Ah Charles, the twist and spin of the lawyer comes through Don't be selective completly read the words of senator Howard the author of the citizen clause
Dave
Just to stir the pot a little I found this Immigration and the Fourteenth Amendment The Fourteenth Amendment (1868) was the first definition of citizen to make its appearance in the Constitution: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citiz...
H-Talon Thanks for the lesson. Got out the encyclopedia and read the amendments. The first part of that #14 is a lose cannon and obvious lack of foresight. Understand the intent, but gotta believe it was never intended to be used for the purpose of circumventing emigration policy. Suspect some of it...
Charles
Great!! -part norwegian, attorney turned minister. As a 50% norwegian myself, can now understand Also now you know why I have a spelling problem
Seriously you sound like a genuine person that i can respect, but not always agree with.
Dave
Am not qualified from a military experience perspective to make any judgments on McCain's military service. He obviously suffered as a POW while in the service of his country and I respect and appreciate all service men and women for their service and sacrafices. It's not McCains service record that...
Charles My apology for spelling  Also didn't go back for last posts on page 4 -just whipped up to 5 to follow  after some chores. Fact - You said people who did not share your view of not trying to control the border were clueless as thier only knowledge came from hearing TV. Clueless in...
"at the end of the War between States aka Civil War ... the law on citizenship was changed to give citizenship, to the newly freed slaves, and should have been repealed the next day since they were now citzens. " Not familiar with this or how it applies to children of illegals. What and wh...
Where in the constitution does it say a non citizen giving birth in the US gives citizen status to the new born?? Just a non informed wanting to know where the H--- this exists

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "gon2shoot... Thanks for the shout from another old Border rat. I don't worry about the flack, not do I get spun up about it. I do realize they only know what they hear on TV and are in general clueless about the i...
Our Ia dem governor gave some kind of noise like he was going to get tough on illegals nothing has happened that I know about. Honestly don't know what the border states are doing, but things still are out of control. Maybe if the government went at it like a revenue making venture like they do many...
Charels Well-just trying to show that applying the law--enforcement--effort in apprehension is dependent on the effort to accomplish such. Do we try to catch illigals and smuglers with the effort we would apply to say an armed robber. IE rob a bank and see if you arn't chased by guys with guns. This...
There are a lot of issues to be solved, but starting out with the premise it's not possoble or workable will make it imposable. Instead of hearlding the problems, work on the solutions. In the instance of the college, if the buildings ore on US ground bend the fence around them-the river isn't strai...
Am fortunate to be able to shoot 50 and 80 yds from the front yard and 100 and 200 over the barnyard fence.
Bad part is no time to get away so no hunt planned
Do what you can when you can because there are no gurantees about tomorrow.
Dave
Darn it-WAS smart enough to not respond and waste my time :P Anyway----------------Things are sad  My view at this time. Vote for anybody but Hillary-along with Bill the most crooked decitfull politicans I can think of McCain and Oboma--not much difference in the wash. Obama will tell you how h...
Adjust the screw-thats what its for. use a dab of blue locktite-the least powerful. Still screw driver movable. If you are going to hunt with it especially in cold weather you might add 1/4th to 1/2 turn to make shure it will fire.
Dave
That must be why border ranchers are calling me. They want me to help get the fence up faster? I don't think so. Control would be a better term with tehnology. And am not surprised how any landowner including myself would react with anyone putting fences to mess with my operation. They are not happ...
Dave, I frankly was not referring to your post. I was referring to what is going to happen to landowners along the Rio Grande. Scott part of my post dealt with land owners and the point is it doesn't have to be bad and in some instances would be good. Would you like your fences being cut and land cr...
