Re: WANT! Win 95 in 7.62 Russian!

I adore old time specimens. But for hard hunting and using and shoting it a lot at the range I want a newly made one. The 7.62 x 54 R was IIRC the MOST made version! Serveral millions für Russia, pre 1917. And don´t forget, the 7.62 Russian iss still made in millions of rounds. And I have heard, the...

Gunsmith screws up dovetail

Had a gunsmith install a different front sight in a 16" Rossi. Millett broad, orange front sight. Was not happy, as the front sight was too tall. Tapped it out; it went out MUCH too easily! Tried to use two other front sights, one Millett ( only lower ) and one fire sight. Both "fell"...

Re: Marlin .357 WITHOUT Safety?

I am sorry, but I never cared much for Marlins, therefore I have no clue. My question:

will scope bases for the 1894 and the 1894 C be the same?

Is the size of the receiver and the screw spacing equal for .357 and .44 Mag guns ( I presume the 336 / .30-30 will be different )

All the pistol rounds would benefit from a good TC flat point bullet, including the 9mm and 45. That may be the simplest way to improve performance with the budget and treaty issues to consider.
