Re: Engraved Rossi question

Thanks for the replies. Steve I thought they were leaves at first also but they have a lot of lines coming off the shaft so I figured they must be feathers. This rifle also has a metal follower, would that support the 80's date as well? I've often wondered the year. Thanks. http://i281.photobucket.c...

Engraved Rossi question

Hi guys, I have a Rossi I bought at auction a dozen years ago. It is engraved with feathers. I've been lurking here for some time and haven't seen one like it. I was just wondering if you have or seen one similar. Thanks. http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk238/kevlesa/142ab2b2.jpg http://i281.phot...

Re: Ot cougar sighting in Fla

There have been numerous sitings here in south central Indiana. A lot of people dismissed them until the DNR caught them on film. They have been sited a hundred mile apart so it's not just one. I suppose as we continue to build and take there habitat they will spread, just like the deer have.

OT-old British sketch comedy

Waaaay off topic. I remember as a kid watching a BBC sketch comedy but can't remember the name of the show or the stars name. It was probably named after him. It was similar to Benny Hill. He also told stories while sitting in a chair and having a "drink". I also remember he was missing pa...

Re: OT- John Taffin???

John writes for GUNS magazine. He usually has two or three articles or reviews in each edition and rounds out the magazine with a good story on the last page. Good stuff. Gabby

Thanks Chuck, you're right about all the specialty magazines out there. I guess they're just giving the masses what they want, and then some. Gabby

Best reloading how to book

First off, I've been reading this forum for a long while and you guys are great. I always leave the site with a smile. Anyway, I'm thinking about reloading in the future and was wondering what you would suggest for a good how to book? Amazon's best seller seems to be ABC's of Reloading by Bill Cheva...
