One just need be sure their various 'deterrent' methods are overlapped and layered and fully secure, and not elaborate on what they may be. I think it would be a grave error to tread with ill-intent on most of the members here; certainly a life-changing, if not ending, experience.

I had some luck just now with 'AirDroid' but it requires everything go through the network vs USB, which seems excessively slow and complex. With my old Dell it just treated the phone as an external disk.... Might get a Dell just for photos and music, since the Mac really sucks for photos and music,...

I've seen people use 375 H&H light loads on small game, and with solid bullet types "you can eat right up to the hole". Should be possible to do the same with the 300 Win Mag.

mmm, I will hazard a guess that hunting deer with a pistol is not legal. You probably will get the "ft-lb" requirement met with less pressure (i.e. a more realistic and safe load in that firearm) using the 180 grain bullet, and that is plenty of weight to kill a deer - the thing it lacks is cross-sectional density, but a well-placed shot (don't hit bone) should do fine. ...

I've seen 'user data' (not 'factory data' yet, but haven't looked much) for the 700 grain 0.500" bullet that claims 1500 fps from a rifle. Doubt a 700 grain would feed though (although I think the same action does work for the much-longer 460 S&W). So far, I've shot mostly 350-450 grain factory load...
