If you like Cinnamon-whiskey....

....but don't like the major amount of sugar in it (Fireball tastes more like cinnamon schnapps to me), just drop a chunk of cinnamon bark in the bottle. You can add more whiskey as the level gets low and the bite lessens but is still there.

One of my favorites. Not 'traditional', but neither were Savage 99's, Winchester 88's, or Marlin 62's. Slick action, short lever-throw, and the 4-shot box magazine is PLENTY for hunting, plus makes loading and unloading in a deerstand or if crossing a road very easy and fast, even with winter gloves...

And good they are getting used, even though they are 'museum-quality', it's always a shame to see a well-designed and made machine not get used as intended. Those look perfect for match shooting, but any hunting a single-shot rifle is good for, they would be great for.

I've been a gun-hobbyist for over fifty years, and bought and sold and traded at least a dozen-dozen guns over that time. Pretty much any gun that cost under $1,000 in today's dollars would wind up in the collection at some point if it stuck my fancy, but 90% of them would become boring after awhile...

Yeah, I got a few leverguns I keep 'original', but if the choice is using one of them and missing (which is what most 8 year old kids who have never shot a gun before do with an open-sighted gun), versus using an 'ugly' one and hitting the target, I'll take the latter option - especially if it helps...

Also consider magnesium if there is muscle spasm. Orally, a dose-ranging from 400 to 1000 mg seems to work for most people. Even at home I do all my depriming on one; it's the ONLY reloading chore I'll do while watching television.

It is VERY helpful to drill a hole in the side of the shaft so primers don't have to come 'out' back through the shell-holder....!
