Yeah the system is terribly dysfunctional. The overhead is ridiculous, so that drives up the fees, and the bureaucrats 'fix' things by layering on even more overhead-consuming, time-wasting, bureaucracy.

This showed that the ship evidently had a power-outage right before the impact.

There were some vehicles just making it over the span before the collsion - didn't see any right there at impact thankfully.

I got a bunch of .45-120 Sharps rounds once, which I wanted for the brass. No way I was going to risk shooting a case with that much volume and unknown powder and charge in them! Problem was that my kinetic puller wasn't long enough for these 3.25" cases. So I made one out of pipe. This worked...

I really prefer the aperture sight in the form of the Williams FP, due to the reasons you cite. Mounted on the front two receiver holes of a Marlin 1894, they are quite compact and durable.

Dunno but the BULLET would definitely be a hard-cast lead with the heaviest weight I could toss out at around 1,000 fps. That velocity seems to be the magic one for deep penetration with hard-cast lead. Probably 300 grains or more.
Ideally a load I could use in Redhawk OR Marlin 1894.
