For 2021 on my C1500 I paid 80 to register and 30 to inspect.

Can't register if you're not inspected, so $110.

About the same for my wife's crossover.

I'll opine that it's a good practice to inspect any brand of ammo you feed your firearms prior to use.

I think the only Remington ammo I buy is those 405gr Express 45/70 softballs. I've got about 200 of them in stock right now.

I've got a bunch of guns that fill all the little gaps. My Model 94 in .356Win is my favorite.

But I gotta agree with Piller, in this neck of the woods a .30-30 would do the job.

Heck, A .357Mag carbine would do the job inside 100yds.

The .357 was a marvel when it was invented. Today's factory .357's are loaded WAY down from from what is reported above.

I'm wondering if modern firearms are even built to handle the pressure of the .357 in the ranges as originally loaded.

Do they shoot well?
