I based my decision for the Camp 9 and XD on data other then velocity gain. First was availability of ammo. 2nd was accuracy. 3rd was magazine capacity. 9mm can be found anywhere. My XDs like 115 or 124 grn ball or HP. The Marlin likes 115 but prefers 124 grn. Again ball or HP. I've got the scope se...

OT reloading, what do I have here?
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/mtpys/4diesdown.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/mtpys/4diesup.jpg Remember I'm still brand new to reloading and learning. These are a set of .45acp dies I bought off e-bay. They were sold as "carbo" dies. The decapper-sizing dies doesn't say c...

My new model 88 pics.
Ok all ya picture lovers here's my M-88 and my new Ruger 3 screw 22lr / 22mag. These are my 1st .308 and my 1st single action. I had thought the M88 was a pre-64 but I was mistaken. It's still nice. I went to the range today but stupid me left home w/o the .308 ammo. I was rushing to beat sundown. O...

OT what powder thrower?
For my reloading gear I need a powder measure to throw a powder charge. Is there one that is adjustable by .1 of a grain?
I don't want the RCBS Li'l Dandy Pistol Powder Measure it looks like you have to buy a bunch of different powder drums at 12 bucks each.
Need some suggesions guys.

Winchester Model 88 Lever
I asked about this here last week and after attending the gun show Saturday I found 2 more. They were both being sold for ~800 each. These were both post-64 models. Thanks to you that educated me in how to tell. Anyways I've decided to get the 1 at my local store it's a pre-64. I can get it for 595....

Y'all be nice now. I've worked for IRS for 32 years. Still don't know stuff about taxes. I do know computers though. Don't blame the IRS for enforcing the law Congress has laid out. As most things wrong with this country Congress has done it. Just remember, you don't pay taxes to your employer, I do.

OT Dulles Gun Show
This weekend, the 8th - 10th is the big show at Dulles Expo center in Chantilly, Va. Any of you plan on going Saturday? I'll be there when they open. Will be looking to buy some .44 magnum ammo and some reloading supplies. If the price is right, I've checked out the local gun shop for powder and pri...

LeverGun range report
Finally had a decent weather day on MY weekend. So I went to the range after a short stop at my local fun store for some male bonding and a box of .44 special. OT: reloading dies
Bear with me here guys, Talking pistol reloading here.
In carbide die sets is only the sizer die carbide?
The deprimer and sizer are together?
The bullet seating die, different ones for different style bullets, like RN, SWC and WC? I see some advertised as for RN.
