I believe all the round barrel Rossi's are D&T'd now, the one pictured is a 20" bbl. The mount does not interfere with my receiver sight at all. Just pop the scope off and leave the mount on, no problem.

I've shot a lot of skeet and sporting clays over the past 40+ years, if I was looking at the bead when I pulled the trigger it was always a miss. IMO you "look" at the target, the barrel and bead are in you peripheral vision.

I have the Keltec and what helped on mine was sanding the bottom inside of the trigger guard smooth. During recoil your finger gets slid along the trigger guard, a band aid would also help. Great little guns, I've put about 1000 rds through mine with no problems and it goes everywhere with me.

I think what you have is a 94 AE that is factory D&T'd if the receiver holes are in front of the lugs. Those are for scope mounts.

They have flat nose replacements, one came with my .357 dies along with the cone type seater. A quick fix would be to simply fill the cone seater with an epoxy such as JB Weld after thoroughly degreasing it. That would give you the flat punch you desire.

You can back bore it. Choke is essentially the constriction difference between the bore and the choke. If you increase bore size .015 except for the last 2" you would have roughly a modified choke. I don't know how much choke you want and am not familiar with the effectiveness of jug chokes.

I like sporting better for a couple reasons. Mainly it takes longer and you get to do more BS'n and Bustin on your buddies. Five stand goes too fast for me, kind of like shooting trap, I like the more social aspect of Sporting.

I hope they sent you the P892 mount, when I ordered mine the girl was going to send P801 which has the same hole spacing but is not tapered. I had to insist on the P892 and it works fine. The other mount is for all their single shots and is the same as the contender mount.

Steve--I have the Merit in my Williams peep sight on my 94 Winnie and it works great. I am going to get on for my Taurus tang sight with my next order to Brownells as it is also 10-32 thread. The easy adjustment of the Merit makes it really nice under changing lighting conditions.
