The world is going down the pan from where I'm standing and it produces fear. For all the tough talk we are all still fearful and fear soon turns to anger and that is what we are seeing all the more the world over.

Always wished I had tried the Speer 130.
It may of suited my needs perfectly.
However what I did use the 150&170 Speers, there was no difference in my opinion. Both worked.

Nothing special, 200yds.

When I was younger I would think nothing of lobbing a 22 to 200yds so last weekend whilst the wind was not I set up an old 6"X10" chopping board ( don't tell the Mrs). I got ten on the board out of thirty, some, about 8-10 were spotters for elevation after two turns up on the turret. Off hand too. I...

First box according to the lot number is 11/28/85 are you sure the "W" is a "W" ?

Red box is 1/20/75.

They started the Horse and Rider logo in 1983 so the box from 85 is probably old stock being used up.

Mike

Re: 16-inch barrelled leverguns: How accurate?

My first 94 are in .30 was awesome. Sub 2"@100.
My last one (tang safety) was pants ( or shorts).
It was only down to lock up though so 16" are fine in my book but they don't hang there like a longer barrel will when off hand shooting. Nice trigger job soon fixes that mind.

Never needed anything special to tear down a spring gun....and there has been some!
Never had an expensive scope on a spring gun and some have been over 12ft/lb.
Never had a spring gun fail in the field.
Have had PCP and CO2 fail in the field!
PCP also tend to have an over inflated price tag too!
