Re: Marlin 336D .35 Rem.

Everyone I have seen is between $800-1000. If you can buy it right if you don't like it I am sure you won't have trouble selling it.

Re: Handloading 44 mag. with LEVERevolution powder by Hogdon

LEVERevolution powder is a rifle powder. It is not for the 44. It falls between BL-C(2) and H380 on the burn rate chart.

I would add trim all fat and debone before you cook. And always throw in a couple cloves of garlic.

Re: IMR Trail Boss in the 444 Marlin

Try 11gns 240swc this worked well for plinking. You can go up to at least 14 gns with no problems but why use up more powder :D

You can check E-bay. I built a WMC from parts I bought this summer. I think the barrel was sixty bucks.

Re: Puma 44 Mag SS octagon barrel Model: PUM50011

I picked up one recently and it shoots very well with JHP. I haven't slugged the barrel but it is my understanding the latest guns have the proper dimensions.
I am going to have to buy another one my 16 year old son decided it was his as soon as it arrived :D

Re: Best place to make holes on a Puma receiver

Marshall Stanton wrote a how to on beartooth bullets. I haven't tried it yet but, I think I will pay to have it done.

Re: Puma 44 bullets

Ranch dog molds sells a lee mold that drops them at .432 for the marlins. They are fairly inexpensive and a lot of guys like them. I am not a caster yet but but I have a 45 Rossi coming and two five gallon pails full of wheel weight waiting.

Great topic seem that the barns X may be an exception to the rule it penetrates almost like a solid but seems to cut its way through. Is this true or is it just good bullet advertisement?

Thanks for the great info and debates.
