Fred,

With a scope I aim dead center of the bullseye. With open sights I usually shoot at the 6:00 on the target. Always shot that way for some reason.

Whoo doggy doesthis sucker shoot!!! Now i did mount a lvpo optic on (1-4×24) as my eyes aint what they used to be. It took 7 rounds to zero at 100 yards and 1 to ensure the zero ;-)

Recoil was a firm push and not a smack. Very happy.

The Remlins I've seen on the racks over the last couple of years have looked pretty darn good. Wouldn't hesitate to buy one. Some of the early ones I saw should not have left the factory.

I used Jasco finish remover to get the Browning glossy finish off, worked very well. The wood looks much better (IMO) with an oil finish.

That's how I like them too! I don't think the multi-mode switches would serve the average person well in an emergency.

About 20 years ago a guy was brought to the ER in the hospital where my wife was working at the time. He had caught a rattlesnake and was playing with it. He was going to get someone to take a picture of him kissing the snake. The snake lunged and bit him on the chin... and you guessed it, alcohol ...

I wonder if Eisenhower ever had nightmares about this profligate waste of young mens' lives. I wonder what lessons were drawn from the after-action reports. It was not a waste. It HAD to be done. Eisenhower knew exactly what he was doing and what the cost would be. He hated having to send those men...

I have a Dremel Model 260, which I've had for close to 50 years. The internal rectifier that came on it failed, a new one failed after a while, so I put a heavy duty rectifier in the power cord. End of problems. Replaced the brushes a few years ago. Other than the rectifiers, I have no complaints.

Re: For you older guys, what type of shooting glasses do you wear?

Regular prescription glasses with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6a20stHk6k I used flat black paint around the hole instead of electrical tape, worked much better. I've also tried the diopter thing by Lyman that attaches to your glasses with a suction cup. Works, but kind of annoying to use.

They seem to have a death wish, and can't think of enough ridiculous things to do to put themselves out of business! I hope they can...
