I found that 62 grains shoots very well in my gun. 63 and 64 start to open up and you can feel the recoil. I am just curious.

50 Alaskan data from Hodgdon is safe for any modern Browning/Winchester 45-70 that has been converted to 50-110. since the 50-110 case is 2.4" and the Alaskan 2.1" pressure will be slightly less. i have used H4198 and IMR 3031 in my loads for my converted Browning. my favorite powder is 3...
