I have a box of Buffalo bore 255 grain keith style ammo. I paid so much for it I have not shot any of it just saving it for hunting. (1000 FPS) (566 LBS).

Thanks Hobbi, I can live with out the +P stuff just wanted a bullet with more grain so 270 sounds good. I can't seem to find anything larger then 255 grain for the SAA. Where would you find ammo like that. I do not reload.

From time to time I carry a .357 new model blackhawk or a .ruger new vaquero .45 cal in a skeleton quickdraw acp belt holster. It fits tight against your side and with a long shirt you can't tell it's their.

The revolver 1851 navy with brass cylinder is the old one, but I have a very nice Nickle 1860 that I treasure. Both are .44 Cal. one would have to cut the lead bullet in half to make room but since I have not tried it I would have to give it a try.

I have never seen anything over 170+ grain. I dont know if the 30-30 would gain anything with bullets heavier then that.

I get a black screen for a few seconds and then it slowly comes in and I can see everything fine. But after about 20 mins everything goes in slow motion even the voices talking. I have to exit out and then log on again. A real pain

Old Savage, That thing shoots straight. At 15 yards had shot groups the size of your fist. That's without trying hard. I pratice quick draw without aiming most of the timeat close range, But I love the old gal and is my faviorite handgun. (I have many)
