About the news saying that McCain and Obama was tied left me with my mouth open. Any person with any brain could seen McCain had Obama on the ropes and made him look like a kid who did not get his way. I was really suprised that Fox News said it was a tie. What kind of recoil do you get from the 45-70 using the 405 fnsp in compared to the 325 grain hornady flex tip. Man I got to say those 325's got some sting. Guy's I know there are alot of rifle's that can take a bear, But since I own one I could not see my self out in bear country be it black bear or grizzly hunting with nothing less then a 45-70. Maybe it is the way it looks. I find the 325 grain flex tip for the 45-70 very good ammo. kind of reminds me of the Winchester power points. I found that post a while back when i was reading about every alaska hunting forum. I found the article on him being attacked by a grizzly on the river interesting. It almost killed him. Go to show no matter how good you are a grizzly can kill you anytime he wants to.

I am watching the movie at the time of this post and when the ugly was in the store the barrel was round. Now that bill Carson showed up on the stage in the desert The barrell has now became hex shaped like a normal 1851 navy. but he still has a covertable cyclinder to fire a standard cartridge.
