I can remember back in the early 60's when I was young (wait-a-minute i'm still young) and still live at home. We lived in the counrty and there was no stock laws so there were lots of free ranging hog, wild true but many had ear marks for ownership. Anyway, one day while out with my dad we came up ...

Can anyone recommend a grip maker or manufacturer who will make a custom color of laminate grips? I am looking for a set for my S&W 60. Something like this? http://www.hogueinc.com/getgrip/prodimg/19422XL.jpg Or this? http://www.hogueinc.com/getgrip/prodimg/19412L.jpg These are from the hogue s...

Looks very nice Steve! I think that recoil pad would come in handy. Mine has a hard rubber/plastic pad/plate. Probably going to hurt! This ones setup for the CAS guy. The shortened stock and negative angle pad helps keep it on the should when working the lever. Can the Chicom 1887s be rebar...

Re: 92 Winchester
Thanks for posting those pictures, Steve. There are only two positions on the hammer, half cock and full cock.. maybe a replacement? Yeah, nice job of plugging the hole.. sure fooled me! This rifle really groups tightly at 65 yds, most clip the same hole. Action is much tighter than my Rossi Pumas....

How does the Rossi differ mechanically from the Marlin? 357 versions The main difference is the rosi 92 is a stronger action than the marlin. Even stronger than the 336 marlin. You won't see a marlin in 454 casull. The Rossi 454's have been out a while now. Other than splitting stocks and jerking t...

I don't know of anyone that's making a stainless leveraction in 357m except Rossi. Most folks know them as the Puma but that's just the model designation for the Rossi's imported by Legacy Sports. I prefer the Rossi imported by EMF as their Hartford model. Mainly because it comes with better semi-bu...

Sounds like a standard carbine right? If that's the case the cheap fix would be to turn the tube around and re-drill for the plug and fit to the band screws. If the plug screw isn't long enough to reach the bottom of the barrel you may need a longer one. Replacements are a stuff shoot as to whether ...
