Anyone cast the Lee 1oz shotgun slug?

I just got a 1oz mold from Lee. Anyone cast this slug? I'm new to casting. Any tips? How would I make the slugs hard or soft?

People are jacking prices up everywhere. About 6 months ago you could get 556 ammo for about 35-40 cents around. Now its 2 to 3 times that. I saw a WASR AK forsale in a pawn shop yesterday for $1200.

I did some research last night and found that there are problems with the lever closing and not firing. The video is on youtube but I don't have the link right now.

Anyone know of a buttpad that requires very little mods to install for a Winchester 94, shotgun buttplate. The Limbsaver I found is too big. Anyone using the Packmayr Pre-Fit Decelerator Pad? How well did it fit?

XD9 in 4 inch and XD9 in 3 inch. Both carry well in the waistband w/o a holster, crossdraw. But I do have a supertuck for when I dress fancy and tuck my shirt in. :D

Rossi 92 is 10+1 and 6 in the blackhawk makes a good number of round for hunting/plinking/survival. And the 357 is small/light enough to carry lots of rounds. Don't get me wrong, I cant or haven't discounted the 22lr/22m. Just ain't made up my mind yet. I've got a 30/30, 307, & 45-70 so its not ...

No levergun/handgun combo. Whats your carry guns and advice?

I've got my eye on a Ruger stainless blackhawk and a Rossi M92 in 357 for a carry combo. But I've also given thoughts to the M92 with a Taurus 992 in 22lr/22mag. What do you carry? And I know nothing of the Rossi M92. What kind of quality can one expect?

Mainly paper and animals. But I made the mistake of shooting at a bowlingball w/a 22 from about 25yds. It ricocheted and pinged off my new Toyota truck! Be careful what you shoot at.
