I put the recipe for tomato gravy on the pork chop post instead of starting a new. I thought I had better let you know where it is and any one else that is wondering about such fine cuiseine but I can't spell that word right. hope ya'll try it with on some grits.

TOMATO GRAVY. ya'll know that to be done right pork chops have to fried in an old iron skillet. When you think they are done just right put them on a platter. That is a beautiful flintlock, fantastic wood. What is the barrel across the flats?, looks like mine, it is 15/16 45 caliber cap lock.

Ask Rusty, ain't nothing gooder than pork chops fried in an iron skillet with grits and tomato gravy. My wife is from Kansas but she did learn to cook and we do like our pork fresh or cured.

Rusty, the .357 carbine is just like my old 1892 32-20. They are just a lot of fun, I have a light, middle and hot load for the 32wcf. Then for the 92 .357 has different .38spl. light, medium and heavy loads and then all of the different .357 loads, like I said any thing from fun to plumb out right ...

Rusty my friend I have a Rossi 92 .357 SRC that was slicked up with the help of Steve's video. I put a Williams 5D on it and it is much more accurate than I am. I don't know but the armorer for the movie probably didn't know the difference. It was like that in western movies much later than that one, he used the same guns in the Searchers.

I have not used a heavy bullet from my Rossi .357 but I know there are folks here that have killed big deer with the 180 grain hard cast round flat nose.

I believe I remember that Jim Cirrillo carried a S&W 38 special and a M1 carbine as a stake out cop in New York City, and made great use of both of them. I didn't spell his name right but most of you know who he is.

Pete, thanks for the new list now I have both of them saved. They both give different dates for a 94 carbine marked 30WCF, so I still don't know when it was made. The hammer is checked in a small pattern and the number starts 1270###. Looks like sometime between late 1930's and late in the war.
