I have seen some Norwegian Krags which look like M-98K's which were taken to German and rearsenaled by the Germans during the war for issue to special units in Norway. Nice looking rifles. H-380 was used to load the .303 British ammunition. H-4831 was used for the 20MM cannon ammo, I believe 4350 is in there as well. There are several others which were used, but most of it was made in lots of 50K pounds and pressure tested to meet velocity and pressure specs for various types of ammo....

As far as I have found all the various trimmers out there require some type of pilot to center the case to the trimmer. I see you are using some Lee products, again I find them good for making their case trimmers. Just a thought. ATB

"Old Ranger" is correct. For now use a heat shield between the bevel based bullets and also rub them with some soft lube like Lee's. It will protect the base of the bullet from the heat of the powder burn. Good Luck.

The "all Copper Chore Boys" do work well, but be sure to carry a small magnet to the store, a lot of them are now copper plate over steel. Just be careful when buying them. ATB

No reason for hard lead bullets in the .45-70. Go with dead soft lead, good gooey bullet lube and a slight taper crimp should fix. Most over crimp a 45/70. Up to around 1600 FPS you shouldn't get leading. Lead will fill the rifling properly and you should decent accuracy. Good Luck.
