If I had it I wouldn't touch that barrel. I bet it shoots Great. I have a Marlin 45-70 with the 22" barrel I bought in '09 . the last time I fired it with the Federal blue box 300 grain loads it was dead on at 75 yards. I have a williams receiver sight on it.

What a load of BS... I had planned to buy a Ruger/Marlin as soon as they made it in .360 Buckhammer....as I have six JM Marlins now. After this I won't touch anything new in Ruger. I have worked in retail for more than 50 years and when I see this kind of treatment from a big company it makes Me sic...

What a Load of stuff....If it is essential that the stock be torqued Ruger should include a timeline for the number of shots between the use of the tool. Every 25..50..100? Why don't they include a torque wrench with each rifle? Why don't they offer one on their accessories page? What if it's a 95* ...

The original BFR Revolver! I would Love to see someone shoot it. In My extended Family the one Brother in Law would go crazy for that one. He has been through all the common heavy hitters and has graduated to a .50BMG rifle now. :D .

We are surrounded by big woods here .The maples start coming down in October and the Oaks a few weeks later. last year the oaks weren't done till late November. If We don't rake them and they get wet or it snows on them there is a real mess to deal with. After 30+ years of a rake and a tarp ten year...

I dove into My stash of books ,in 2011 I bought Keith's "Rifles for large Game" from fellow member 86er here. That picture of Elmer is on page 269 . the .280 Dubeil rifle topped with an 8 power Lyman Targetspot scope. 150 grain bullet going 3,300 fps. range was 450 yards. I often wondered ...

I...as well am not crazy about the plastic stocked rifles. I did like this review of the .360 calibre round and I didn't know that Federal was offering it in a 220 grain bullet. Here in Ohio we can hunt with just about any straight wall cartridge .

We ended up with a foot of powder, 6* now and all the schools are closed and most likely tomorrow as well. At the end of My road is 19 acres of woods . The Amish moved in a sawmill last week and yesterday a team of Horses . I don't know how they stand the cold but they are some tough people.

We are looking for 12-14" of snow today. so far not much wind. not supposed to get much above 20* all week. I'd rather have snow than ice, we have had some ice storms that left the roads looking like a war zone with downed trees and limbs, then you can bet the power will be out. Stay safe Guys.

I saw one at a gunshop over in PA. picked it up and worked the action .it was smooth as silk....if they come out with it in .360 Buckhammer i'll buy it today. I could Deer hunt with it in Ohio............. At least it would sound better when I tell Momma. :o .

Great pictures All ! Last Thursday the wind here shifted from the south and it was 59* and sunny all day, I felt like I was 69 again. Friday a cold front from the north west came in and dropped the temps. right now it's around 30* and the wind is 30mph. another day to stay by the Fire.

Bone in Rib Half Pork Roast ,with sauerkraut and mashed taters. one of My favorite meals . same cut as a standing Rib of Beef, just pork . and $1.49 lb. :D .
