I'm not a Coot....I'm a COG .Certified OLD Geezer. I showed up here in 2000, then when they re-did the forum All had to sign up again . I have Marlins in many calibers and haven't had trouble getting decent groups. :D .

I have a RWS 350 magnum, it's a beast weighs about 8lb and cocking effort is 45 lbs. I have the usual Crossman pellets and wally world also had some Ruger 17gr on the shelf. One of the local gun shops had the H&N pellet assortment and I grabbed it. very interesting to shoot different ones. Momma...

Sorry about Your Dad Jason. You could try giving Jaquas in Findlay a call . I was at the new store last August . They have everything from low end to some of the most expensive guns I have ever seen. hundreds of them. They will surly know who can do an appraisal. Good Luck Pard.

Sarge, When it worked the double action was fast and smooth, the grips fit great. I don't expect much out of an inexpensive gun. but it has to be reliable. This is one I would take to the river and very well may have gotten dunked along with Me.

In '76 I was 22 and totally Nuts. I bought a 3200 skeet gun for $550.00. My Family was :shock: . That gun was for Me a machine and I shot it so much that targets looked like the lid of a Garbage can. I even did pretty well at international skeet with it. To be Young again with out a care.!

I bought My Marlin CL 32-20 in '07 after Kirk D from Canada posted here about the round. Starline has 1000pcs of brass for $246.50. The 32-20 and 45-70 will do anything I could ask for in Ohio. They would be the last I would ever sell.

Iikocher, I get it , In Your Shoes ( and I've been there ) in the 1854 the .44 mag is the winner all day long .ammo can be found just about anywhere and if You reload brass is cheap and easy to get. Good Luck.
