I load 200gr lead bullets with HS6 powder for about 1300fps. My favorite loads in the 94 ...

Leveritis strikes Me once more. Pic's added.
I'v only owned one .357 mag, a Smith model 19 more than thirty years ago. any use for it quickly ended when I got my first Blackhawk .45colt. After reading about the .357 in rifles here for the last several years I started paying attention, and of course found one just before Christmas that was too ...

To further expain what Terry is sayin is that if Keith had a strong Ruger type gun in the 1920's the .44 mag may never have been. But with the guns and steel of the time the .44 was much safer with heavy loads than the .45colt. Elmer switched to the .44 and rarley ever looked back and in the 50's th...

I started in the early 60's with daisy bb-guns. when I was 14 I used my hay money to get a Sheridan Blue Streak .20cal :o . it cost $37.00 and I still have it. the first year I killed 14 fox squirrels with it. My last Air Gun was an RWS 36 .177. it made alot of noise and I wasn't impressed with it. ...

Welcome to the Fire. The Colt will do a great job on deer. In a rifle the pistol cartridges really come alive. If You reload the .45 really shines.here is a great article from Paco.
