Thanks for the replies and the link. I wasn't too worried about the trigger as it feels good when it breaks. The trigger is one of the many things that sold me on this particular lever.

Years ago, I had a Remington 788 in 308 Win. I made a reduced load with Unique and the Speer Plinker. It was perfect for varminting and gave me minute-or-squirrels-head accuracy.

If the scope is a regular eye relief riflescope, and not a longer eye relief scout or pistol scope, then the Weaver one-piece rail the fits all Marlin 336/1895/1894 will do,... Ruger is stubborn and won't fit an axillary cylinder to any pistol model that didn't originally offer this option. Since the New Model Blackhawk model did they will most likely do this for you.
