Your loads are too low-pressure. When a primer fires, it backs out a bit on all cartridges. In normal loads, the case is then slammed backwards and the spent primer is fully re-seated. A too-weak load does not accomplish the needed re-seating and the protruding primer ties the gun up.

Well, both blued and stainless guns will suffer the same wear; it will just be more visible at a glance on the blued one. The slight finish wear that eventually occurs does not harm the functionality of either. That, plus the fact of being more rust-resistant (NOT rust-proof) are the only advantages...

If it has that "drag thru" feel, that's a GI trigger, not a 2-stage. Get something like a Rock River Arms Match 2-stage and you'll see a world of difference. Weightless take-up, followed by a crisp 3.5-4 pound clean break. :wink:

Never had that specific iteration, but the 24-inch .45 I sadly traded away while in a fever was a perfect gem. Given a decent price I'd snatch up a new one tomorrow.
