Yep, I like DA big bores too. This one in .45 colt (converted from a Highway Patrolman) goes well with a lever gun in the same caliber. Comes in handy to have a long gun and handgun that share ammo.

Not pretty to look at, but might be practical in the brush during black powder season.

In the mid-eighties I traded my first Colt Bisley for a 5 screw 3.5" Smith model 27. It was beautiful and a fine shooter.
Let a good buddy talk me out of it somehow. I have other 27s, but still miss that one.
