Why do squirrels bite bark and spit it out on my patio?
It sometimes kills the limb if they chew too much around it. They don't bother my oaks or pecan tree bark. If I catch them chewing or eating my pecans it's me or them and so far I have won that game. feral hogs, I think, have big thick plates on each side of it's neck and shoulder. The fangs can't get through it. At least that's what I have heard. RR7

Some of the local ranchers say because of feral hog locating the rattlesnakes by their noise they have learned to stop rattling so much.

I have found that any snake will coil and strike if cornered, even grass snakes. On the revolver, like I said it is one of my favorites. On my best days I have put two in the same hole. RR7

I used a Circe call for my early years. I had a large owl swoop me and hit my hat. They are silent flyers and it was nerve racking. I make sure now if I'm night calling I'm in my Polaris UTV Ranger with a top. RR7

A buddy in college and I used to go out in the mornings with a pick-up full of greyhounds and spot coyotes and sick them on them. The Alfa would run it for a while with the others taking their turns; then when the party was over my buddy would signal the Alfa to finish it. Done deal. RR7

I have a Foxpro that is great but cost quite a bit. I use diaphragm mouth calls as well as reed calls. They all have their pros and cons. Practice is what counts.
