Looking Good Isn't All About Guns...

I was driving through the neighborhood last summer and saw this gas station a guy had built in his driveway. I stopped and talked to him about the look and how impressive this whole vintage station/garage was that he erected in his driveway. He told me to come back anytime and take pictures, today w...

Half magazines just don't look right, get a replacement then antique it yourself with vinegar. You can dilute the vinegar a bit with water and apply it to the magazine end that is covered by the forearm to practice just how much, and how long to leave the solution on the magazine tube. Wiping it wit...

Dang Pitchy....You and me both. In 40 years I have never been able to snag a '76 in the condition, caliber, and the price to go with it. (50-75%, 45-60, and highway robbery for a price.) Re: Any 76 owners?

Neither the 45-60 or the 45-75 were made to shoot heavy bullets. The 45-70 is a whole different animal and was made in 1886 and Sharps variations, which are stronger and longer actions than the 1876. The 45-60 is best suited with a 300 grain bullet, the 45-75 will handle a 325 grain, but neither was...

The problem with posting on a site like this is you have to keep it as short and concise as possible to keep from being too complicated. When someone says they are looking at a $495.00 Winchester, that usually means it isn't going to be much of a gun, regardless of the manufacture date. As far as th...
