I live in Harrison, ID. It is just 20 miles north of St. Maries. Do not let anyone scare you about the folks here as they are just about the best in the country. Taxes are just not that bad. I went to college at WSU which is about 8 or 9 miles west of Moscow in Washington, and lived in Lewiston for 3 1/2 years before I moved here 6 years ago. Re: .44 Mag Lever Gun Loads

This was our first big game kill, so sure not an expert here. But it makes sense to me.....big going very fast, hitting something more solid, expands and/or breaks up, decreasing penetration. Big going moderate speed keeps on penetrating as it does not overly expand when it hits, relying on generous...

My boy shot a mature boar with his Marlin 336 Texan in 44 Mag. Due to chambering issues, we used 44 Special brass with a lighter charge of 2400 under a 265 cast bullet. Not fast at all....very light recoil, but went right through him quartering....entering at the shoulder/gristle plate and coming ou...

Oly, They moved the museum....used to be in the old Hap James hangers I believe, toward the control tower/Falcon's Roost. But they moved it to the west of the park....at the South West edge of the airport. That's where you get in. I was never a huge fan of the Corsair until I saw that Super Corsair....
