RCBS Hand Priming Tool
I bought my RCBS Hand Priming Tool a long time ago ... sometime back in the 1990's. I have primed untold thousands of rifle and pistol cartridges. This last week the Large Primer Feed broke. I sent RCBS an email about it this morning, listing the part number from their online catalog and letting the...

Love the Whittington Center! 5 hours North of me you'd think I would visit more often. Achieved a bucket list item in 2021 by hitting the buffalo with my Sharps 45 2.1 and black powder. That's a tough shot. I did it with my .30-30 Model 94 and cast 190 gr. bullet ... but it took me forever to get t...

Jim, I remember this one, but as far as load data goes, it's stayed relatively sedate. The other 40 calibers took that ball and ran with it! Such an easy shooting sixgun cartridge that kills jackrabbits with authority as far as I can hit them. I need to settle on a mould and a bullet weight, curren...

Been visiting it since the late 1980's. I haven't been there lately. I know the collection is large enough they could not show it all and would put some away and bring out others at various times. Lots of really nice guns and gun history.

Ray .. I load Prvi Partizan 150 gr. .311" Spitzers for my .30-30 ... use them single shot as they won't feed through the magazine plus having the pointy nose. They work just fine. I size all my cast bullets to .311" and always have.

No I don't. Sorry. But he tells me the guy he built it for has shot targets like this enough times to prove it wasn't a fluke. If you've never seen what Mic did to the Marlin's to make them accurate, it's quite a study. From the mounting of the stock through every piece and part of the rifle.

Anyone try the Leverevolution powder with 125 grain bullets? I've read someplace that the Leverevolution powder doesn't perform that well with lighter bullets, but was curious what others had found. It works well if you load it correctly. 130 Speer w LVR.jpg This is one of repeatable targets fired ...

As far as I am concerned the only thing the 9mm has going for it is that it is easy on lead and powder. My practicing load of 3.4 gr. of Bullseye gives me over 2000 reloads from a pound of powder. And 10 pounds of lead will make nearly 600 bullets. I prefer sixguns to autoloaders and the .38 Special...

I think the difference would be more noticeable using expanding jacketed bullets. I agree the 44-40 is under appreciated, but implying it is just as good maybe counter productive.
