Re: 1903 springfield

Did you have the Buehler rings? Maynord P. Buehler had a shop near Oakland, CA and patented some really slick rings and bases. He passed maybe 8 or 10 years ago, but there was talk that an old employee was going to begin production of his rings and bases. You can find his stuff on eBay but it can be...

Re: For All You Jeep Lovers...

Jeepnik, I've always liked those Scramblers -still remember the ads on TV: "Scramble to work and Scramble to school". Been working on a Jeep too. I'm thinking trail/hunting/teach the boys to drive a stick rig. http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z227/coop923/Jeep%20Stuff/4c51b849.jpg I like...

Re: If I Had To Make A Choice..... .375 Win, or, .444?

Re: Vintage Hunting

Here's another Model 8 pic: me about a few years back. My grandpa sold a Savage 99 in 25-35 to get a new Model 8 in .35 Rem. I usually take it out at least once a year when the country's not too open.

Re: A spin on Win '94 , show us pics of your neck of the woo

I've been quiet around here for a while and figured this thread would be a good place to introduce myself and say hi. I'm from Northern California and have been hunting and shooting all my life. I've always been a lever fan and never stray too far from them, although other types of guns catch my int...

Neat looking gun! You'd need to stock up on brass when you see it.
