End of season Texas Pronghorn hunt Success

The last weekend of the Texas season saw 86er, my son Colin, and I driving 7.5 hours from Farmersville to Dalhart and the outfitter lodge location on H54 to begin our hunts. With all the usual No-Fault papers signed and only a couple of hours of daylight left, our guide, Joe Pope, said "lets go get ...

WM said " IMO 357 mag and 44 mag seem to make good use of the extra barrel length while the 9mm not so much." I agree. For a while, I had carbines in .357 and .44 mag and decided the .357 was best for me an sold the .44. https://www.jpgbox.com/jpg/53201_600x400.jpg PS, I skipped the video because I ...

JimT,
For me, the Federal large rifle Match Magnum primers made a significant difference in my .405 WCF when shooting compressed charges. The 400 grain load I took buff hunting was 35 fps faster with the only change being to switch from xxx mag primer to Fed215M. It burned very clean too.

Shot placement rules!
I shoot .357 revolver and rifle and either is sufficient for hogs within range of the cartridge and your ability.

I do suggest the use of JSP and not hollow point bullets.

I have used both on hogs and the JSP are more reliable.
