Re: What turned you on to guns?

My dad, he bought me my first BB gun, upgraded me to an 1894 lever BB gun, then a Benjamin 22cal pellet, a single shot H&R break barrel 20 gauge. Dad took me out to shoot his Ruger Mark I, had a neighbor light load a box of 12 gauge shells and took me out trap shooting, and I outshot my dad...lo...

Old Lever

When he was a kid, a friend of mine found an old Winchester in a farmers field. He just sent me pics thinking he'd like to get it operating. I'm thinking...no, but what a cool wall hangar! I asked him to check the serial # but it's hard to read. It's a 25-35 WCF. The lever and the hammer work okay. ...

My neighbor was deer hunting years ago with a buddy and had taken a shot and dropped a buck. Ray grabbed the other antler and the buck took off running with Ray still holding on...

S&S Super E, the older series that has the main air bleed that is just a drilled .040" hole. I'm gonna open it up to 5/16"-24 thread so I can just screw in a main jet what ever size I need to tune it. The ones they've built since 2004 come that way.
