For guns without a readily changeable front sight, I paint it flat neon green, the color highway workers wear. For best results, apply a base coat of white. For most eyes, neon (or fluorescent) green gives the best all around visibility. Plus, it's easy to remove/change if you don't like it. :wink:...

Picked up a Gen3 Glock 34...9mm long slide....excellent trigger and sights. Fun as he11 to shoot. Probably swap out the rear sight with a holo or red dot sight just for kicks.

My 336 will shoot both equally well, but it really likes the Hornady 160gr GummiTips. I've not heard any complaints from any buck or hog that found it's way into the freezer.

Mounted a Marbles tang sight on my Savage 99 .300. Took 5 minutes, including removing the original buckhorn sight and replacing it with a dovetail blank. Took about a half box to get zeroed.
