Thanks for posting hfcable. Really neat shotguns and great that you get and use them. I've thought about buying one of the new ones---Marlin, Winchester or Henry several times. I suspect yours is 2 1/2, correct? I'm also wondering how it patterns? it uses 2 1/2" it patterns really well.....good ful...

The Furgeson Rifle appears sane compared the Alexander Forsyth "scent bottle lock" priming system. And I do believe at one time a reproduction Ferguson was available. it took about four hours.....he did an extra thorough job, which took longer, but decreases chances of needing it done again. feeling groggy a bit still , but up and going, and thankful for these results and to all of you ! going to start loading stuff up for the upcoming remote territory adventure ...

have to go in tomorrow for cardiac ablation....done under general anesthesia, lasts 3 hours or more. was supposed to do it later in the day so I could work the am, but have to be under by 1030 am. not without risk, especially for a person like me with genetic immune deficiency. not worried, really.....

this one belonged to the president of the parker collectors association, maybe a fellow named Herzog......it was a high grade gun like at least the equivalent of a D or more likely a C or B based on the engraving etc.
