As a whole, 2025 was pretty good for us. No real health issues, lots of vacation trips and lots of shovel riding. Aside from some storm trees down and such last spring we had a good year. I hope 2026 is as good. Ride on.

Since the notch is dovetailed, if the points were sharp, it could be a rudimentary saw. I imagine a woodsman running that notch over a 1 or 2 inch branch back and forth. This would work if the notch was squared also. The corners just have to be sharp. But then the bottle opener and cork screw indica...

I would also like to know why the 38-55 was never a standard round for bolt actions. I would love to have a bolt action in it so I could scope it but only lever actions were ever standard.

I insist every gun I hunt with is sighted in and checked cold. Repeatedly. I have never hunted with a warmed barrel. It is fun to do when farting around outside all day. Get set up and take a shot. Say a 22 for squirrel. Go do something and come back later and take a shot. Repeat. As opposed to wond...

Years ago at the Smithsonian Museum they had a maybe 15 foot tall clear plastic Saturn 5 rocket filled with resisters and stuff that made the rocket work. Sure. It would have been more correct for me to say that in every attempt for me to see evidence for a god I was not convinced. For me to say there is no god is obvious an opinion and can not be proven. No man can convince me there is one though.
