Re: Levergun Hunt Safari in South Africa 10 year anniversary

Are you going to be in Dallas for the DSC? If so, let us know what booth location when you find out. Any Leopard hunting available? I won't have my own booth at DSC but I will probably be at the booth of a friend on the 17th and 18th. Will post details here when I have them. I will only know if I d...

Re: Levergun Hunt Safari in South Africa 10 year anniversary

I will need to talk my wife into letting me go. I would absolutely love to go again to hunt in Africa. You, Stoffel, Hannes, the trackers, Miss Walker of the great tracking nose, and your lovely Wife all made for a memorable trip. All the food was great, and you treat your guests with Old Style Eur...

Levergun Hunt Safari in South Africa 10 year anniversary!

Hi folks, It's been a while since I last posted here so please excuse me if I'm posting this in the wrong forum... The first group of Levergunners to hunt with my Outfit did so back on 2005 when Paco brought three friends from this community over to Africa. Since then, I've had the privilege to hunt...

Hey Crow, I understand where you are coming from and agree with you 100%. Was just taking the p_ss so my comment wasn't aimed against you in a bad way at all. Let me say this though: Even though 4,000 acres may sound small, it is definitely not "catching fish in a bowl" when it gets to hun...

Agreed... But this is certainly not what can be expected on the hunt offered.

Re: LEVERGUNS S. Africa SAFARI 2010

The Levergun Safari dates for 2011 haven't been set as yet but we will certainly keep this in mind... But then again why wait until '11 if dates are ...

Re: Stopping rifles - 86er

You are welcome Mike! I used to post quite regularly on the old site (jeepers - the new site has been up for a while but I just never got round to re-registering and contributing by means of posts!). Have to say I'm happy to be back! Levergunners have a very special place in my heart... The '06 leve...

Re: Stopping rifles - 86er

I'm chiming in a little late with my response as I've only just seen this thread but here goes... The best charge stopper there is is something called "shot placement" I.e. if the first shot is placed well chances of a charge are reduced. For this reason we try to get as close as possible ...

Re: Hunt Africa in America - Sept 11,12th, '09

(copy of post stupid placed in wrong topic  ) 4000 acres is not very big, especially if your in a vehicle. But even on foot thats pretty small. On the other hand I'm sure that animals hunted in native Africa are constantly monitored by the guides and they will usually put you close to success...

Re: LEVERGUNS SOUTH AFRICAN SAFARI 2009

If Baboons are such a menace why aren't they free too shot like the Jackals are? Just thinking out loud. The Bush Pig, and Wart Hog sound like bargains, I love to pop them piggies. One day, one day. The trophy fee for baboons are for exportable animals only. Baboons that are shot as "pr...
