28 grains of IMR 4320 with a 100 grain bullet worked very well for me. I believe in some old manuals 4320 was listed as THE powder for their accuracy load which is of course not necessarily their highest velocity loading.

Your right about that. There is a limit you can push the old girl to whether pistol or rifle. Just not made for that pressure. My old casting buddy only has that RCBS 32-170 FNGC mold for 32 special. Hopefully I can make up something that shoots near as good as your load.
