I have been an N Frame guy, then I got a model 19-2 4 " from 1962....then a 19-4 2 1/2. The 4" is so much easier to handle and carry.

My 71 Standard is also a 1937....thankfully it has open sights, as a peep is too hard to lock on a Deer anymore.....58 and my eye site gets a little worse every year.....so for hunting unless it's up close I reach for a scoped rifle or shotgun.......kevin All three are Winchesters....... http://i97....

I had spine surgery last year....a fragment migrated behind my spine and cut off all nerves...they had to cut a window in my spine to get it out....used a walker the first 3 weeks....then a cane......walked a little further each time (out for 2 months) but kept at it....managed to hunt (6 point) but...

I have always said "spend your money once".....as you have done. They are excellent optics, and you will never be sorry. I have Leica 10x25bca pocket sized, Pentax 10x42, and Steiner 7x 50 and all three have there place but junk will always be just that....junk that you will never be happy...

I have had as many as 8 AR-15....SP-1, H-Bars, Bushmaster, Beowolf 50, Colt Sporter 7.62 all DI but my favorite AR type is the SIG 556 Classic....I don't need rails etc and it shoots great......Folding stock, flat top and no buffer ping every time I touch off......for AKs the Henderson Defense 5.45...

you probably did....one of the best training classes I took as an LEO was skid school.....you can not stop fast enough to keep from hitting the vehicle, or in your case the biker even at 45 miles per hour with 3 car lenghts between you.......AND you know they are going to stomp the break at any seco...

I carry 24/7.......I mind my business and have no intention of hurting anyone else, and expect the same. I have carried everything you could think of and it's my Kahr PM909 w/ +P+ 9 mil Gold dots., or 38 Body guard....and being a LEO I can carry anywhere....when I scout I switch to my 640 2" .3...

I brought up the PCP only as I never forgot it.....crack, meth and a combo of good old boose makes people stupid and deadly....we had one with a 4 foot sword one night coming at 2 of our guys and lucky for him both were experienced and didn't shoot him....back up from the next town shoots him 6 or 7...

The 180 gr 40 cal is junk....the 155 and 165 gr are much better IF you have to carry a 40.....we carry .357 125 gr in our Sig 229s and that round is awesome.......and in actual police shootings it scores very well. I grew up in Boston....experienced the Army 72'-75" and spent time in KY, MO. Pa....woods, trees , animals....way less people....went home....Boston sucked....no trees, plenty of 2 legged animals, no Deer.....moved to gun friendly NH....and being a cop I can carry anywhere, but would be afraid ...

I have always hunted with a 30.06....BAR, Gustav, Blaser.......but I have come to appreciate the 18" barrel BAR....so much so I bought a second one........joy to carry with the short barrel.....if you can find one with an 18" barrel.....7.6 with scope....
