Down in Panama, it behooved one to walk in the street at 0200hrs after the NCO club closed. All kinds of snakes ruled terra firma after dark. The up side was zero stray cats, and no rats or mice problems. You bring up an excellent point with the animal shelters facing over population problems that ...

Slightly off topic as far as open chokes go but if you go to the Henry website there is a video there of .22 Plinkster using a full choked .410 to take a turkey at a very long distance using some new Hevi shot .410 loads.I wouldn't have believed if I hadn't seen it.

It's all about personal preference. I didn't like them back then and most likely won't now. To me the grip on a Colt is narrow and long. It just doesn't fit my hand the way a S&W does. I'm sure a lot of people will like them and I wish Colt good luck with them.

I've shot quite a few of the short aguilla slugs and 7/8 oz. #7 1/2s....... After firing they look like the right length to load with a squared black powder load without a crimp but with an overshot card glued for the shorter chambered, damascus barreled older guns..... Hmmm, that sounds interesting.
