I know I've heard of people cutting down plentiful .223 brass to make .380 rounds. I think the first thing I read about this new cartridge was that it would be a big seller in states that require straight walled cases for deer.

Maybe Big Horn Armory will come out with a rifle in .357 Max.

An AR in .223 can be devastating with some good quality heavy bullets. Partitions from a .223 will preform as well as an old school .30-06.

CCI mini Mags give good accuracy in most everything have. If I want GREAT accuracy in my CZ or my 10/22 match I use RWS. The RWS in my 10/22 match will make bug holes at 25 yards.

I can't vouch for Benchmade. I know I've never had a USA made Buck fail me. My EDC is a German made Puma made like a trimmer Buck 110. I do have a Mora that I think I paid %6 for that has the best steel of any knife I've ever owned.

My only recent Weaver experience was when I saw some new K4s on sale so I bought 3 of them thinking it would be nice to go old school. When they got to me I found they were made in China and had nowhere near the clarity of the old K4s.

Almost all of the scam calls I get are numbers that come from my area code and my prefix. If it's a number I don't know I don't answer it. If it come from someone I do business with they'll leave a message. If it's legit and they leave a message I'll call them back.

Funny how everyone is running to the Creedmoor when the 6.5X55 Swiss has been around for over 100 years. Maybe the Creedmoor is more suited to more modern bullets because of a difference in twist. I know a 6.5 penetrates like no tomorrow. I ordered one back when I had my FFL and shot it a few times....

There was a 2 part article in RIFLE magazine a few years ago about a cape buffalo hunt using a .45-70. A Hammerhead round went thru an old buff the PH had asked the shooter to kill and killed a cow standing behind it as well.
