Re: Updated Review on Current Production Marlin 1895

Yes, I saw that yesterday too. The "old Marlin" had its share of QC issues too. I had to send a new 1894FG back for cycling issues when it was new several (7 or 8 ) years ago. Not ideal, but it works fine now. I have 3 1894s and a 1895G all bought from old company manufacture. I hope Remin...

Re: What your you doing for Memorial Weekend? Pics encouraged!

It will be back to the regular day job on Tuesday. There is a CABO holster on its way that will fit my N frame...

Re: Politics - McCain taps AK governor Sarah Palin as VP

McCain has 3 months left to live down about 20 years of isle crossing linking himself to some of the zanier liberal democratics. I don't trust him. Sarah Palin may be the next Margaret Thatcher, but we don't know that. She could also be Dan Quail with nice legs. If the ticket wins, McCain will call ...

Re: Stuck Bullet

We had an incident at the local range a few months ago. One of our more experienced members unintentionally ran a test to see how many 158gr SWCs would fit down the barrel of a 6" Colt Python. He swore they all went bang and felt normal for his 3gr. Bullseye load. Then the gun locked up. He cou...
