I used a reinforced cutoff wheel with a dremel. Worked a treat. I spoke to a tool and die gal who said bronze generally won’t gall like aluminum. Took 20 minutes.

I don’t. When I went down to take pictures I realized I’ve sold the Rossi, swapped out the hammer screw back to original on the 1886 so I could install a model 21 sight and remembered I had just simply drilled and tapped a new hole in the BLR aluminum receiver. What I did on the 1886 was have a repl...

Not a fan of the long action ones. 308 is the cat’s meow. The bolt cams into the barrel lugs so no worries about the aluminium’s strength.

Booked two nights in Dubois. I think Ashton,ID is next with some fishing on the Henry/Warm River then up the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway to Grayling for a couple of nights then to Old Faithful Inn then back to Jackson.

I’ve been to Cody. Bride not so fond of The Museum idea.

There are a couple of sweet spots to fish right near Jackson. Flat Creek has some really pretty cutthroats. Just up past the elk refuge on the Teton side of the road is a sweet little hole at Blacktail Ponds overlook too. Dubois looks like a winner.

I really liked the heavy under lug and ribbed shroud for shooting but the frame of the 15-2 is just too big for my hands. The new S&W 19/66 have a tensioned barrel a la DW and like all K-frames fit me well. I do like the look of that gun.

If I were to have something close at night it would be a Colt LE6920 with an Aimpoint PRO and the stock collapsed.
If I hear something go bump in the night I sure as hl won’t go looking for it. I’ve got no kids or livestock to protect so I could just hole up and wait for 911 or Mr. Badguy to enter.

You can try adding Lugol’s iodine to your glasses of water. One drop twice a day. You can up it to two twice a day. If your nose runs stop and restart at one drop once a day. See if that doesn’t fix your dry wax issue. J.CROW'S® Lugol's Solution of Iodine 2% 2oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001AEFM9Y/...
