Uberti's and other Colt sized .45s are not week or prone to failure. That revolver in the first post was destroyed by faulty ammo. Double or more powder charge. Last time I saw a .45 Colt cylinder blown like that the cause was a double charge of Bullseye.
Gun owner needs to contact the ammo maker first then Cimmarron.

Another gimmick. Lever lock is designed for 1873 Uberti or 1866 Uberti rifles to prevent unintentional opening of action before trigger is pulled. Lever Lock prevents a live round from being ejected and greatly diminishes chances of an out of battery discharge. How does one eject a live round to cle...

The 32 special came about due to complaints about the .30-30 being unsuitable for reloading with black powder. And it's more powerful than the .32-40. As I recall the mdl 94 was chambered in (in order): .32WCF & .38-55, .30-30, 32 Winchster Special, .25-35, .44 Magnum, The 94BB in: .375 Winches...

The rebounding hammer action trigger pull can be improved with some judicious polishing of the those parts in the lower tang that move against each other.
There are many threads here where we have discussed this. Do a search and I'm sure you'll find at least some of them.

Birds will eat them, but not if you spray them. Then the birds get sick and you lose your natural control that keeps them in check. We usually clip the easy to reach ones and toss them to the chickens, but since we quit spraying the birds take care of them so we hardly see any. The other fun thing ...
