If you don't reload and your not wealthy then your done, its a 44. I've shot both for over 20 years, the 41 is a great pistol but if I did not cast and reload I could not afford to shoot it (either really) as much as I do.

Learn to cast and load, your shooting fun will go up exponentially.

fwiw you will find 44's far more often then 444, plus 444 is pricey if your not reloading. We just got our 285gn rnf group buy molds on the castboolits site (castboolits.gunloads.com/forumdisplay.php?f=37). This should be great out of the 444. I cast 250 of them last night they fell at 285.6 average...

First was a Daisy 99 in '70 It took a long time for the next one a Red Rider in '85 then a 336 / 3030 in '99 followed by a 1895 cowboy in 545-70 and then a Win in 375.
