I've been thinking about breaking down and getting a C&R license. I would like to hear from those who have gone through the process and see about what they think. (is it worth it, would they do it again, are there any pitfalls...)

Frankly I like it this cold. Heck it wasn't bad the last two mornings at about 10. Keeps a lot of folks inside and that helps me in my work. A cold day is a peaceful day.

Hard question. Of the cartridges that I have shot I would have to go with the 25 ACP. Of those I haven't (but would like to) I think the Tround to be odd to the point of worthless. Of those already mentioned, but I can't figure out why: I love the '06 and really like the 7.62x39. The '06 (03-A3) bro...

Looks pretty neat, but I'm afraid it looks like it sticks up too far and would be prone to getting knocked. I know scopes and stuff sticks up further, but they have mounts to the gun that IMHO could take it better than the step adjustment portion of that sight. Still wouldn't mind having it though.

You could put the MSU style bear on one side and the paw print on the other. Maybe the paw print on the side that faces "out" in the holster showing a warning and the growling bear would only show up when the gun was pulled and be visible when you looked at the gun in the palm of your hand...
