Similar concept with the old S&W K-Frame 357s. Light for caliber bullets being pushed hard have been reported to crack the forcing cone. The flat on the bottom of the cone is the weak spot.

The full size 8-3/8" barreled models are pretty heavy. My 5" is nothing to sneeze at, but it's definitely easier to handle. Still, considerably heavier than an N-Frame

I think being a rimmed cartridge the Buckhammer is the more natural choice for the X-Frame than the 350L. And the Buckhammer should fit in the cylinder as well

I still lament the failure of the Winchester Big Bore and Marlin Express line of cartridges. I think they were well thought out and executed cartridges to improve the performance of the most common lever rifles. It's too bad they didn't catch on and stay for the long term. I own a 94 Big Bore in 375...

In about a year the writer will be comparing the 45-70 to the 360 Buckhammer. :D . Somebody already did that. But I feel this video is heavily skewed to make the 360 the perceived winner. He's using old standard pressure 45-70, 1330fps stated on the box. Obviously the Buckhammer runs at pretty subs...

In terms of handguns, the only requirement is centerfire. So we can use everything from 25ACP to 500 Bushwacker with handguns.

The Blue Book is great but you have to know how to read between the lines...I have around 20 of them here..........trends can change overnight, different areas of the country command different prices, time of the year changes prices, hard to get guns most always don't have the proper prices written...

RR, good point! And truly, I would rather have a lever gun anyhow. The cartridge was specifically developed for lever guns, so I agree, not sure it would be a good fit for a bolt action gun. Sorry, I had to brush up on the subject again as I don't personally have much interest in it as I have a 358...
