I like my 348 Winchester, brass is fairly readily available if you look for it. Bullets are also there if you look.
I think ballistically they are pretty similar, and you can go up to a 250 gr bullet in the .348

Winchester Ranger .22 Leveraction
I haven’t seen anybody talking about the new Winchester Ranger .22 introduced yesterday. Looks like a decent little gun and the price is right with an MSRP of $419. I’d like to know where it’s made. I’m sure it’s not in the U.S. but who knows. It almost resembles the old 9422. I may have to pick one...

30-30 Case Length Trimmer for .32 Special
Anybody use the LEE 30-30 case length gauge for trimming 32 Win Spc as well?
I haven’t yet done any reloading for my 32 win spc and don’t have any of my manuals in front of me currently but I can’t see why it wouldn’t work off the top of my head since it’s basically the same case as a 30-30.

Not quite on topic but I remember when Obama was President we had a govt shutdown around 2013 or 2014. For some moronic reason they closed the un-staffed public range in the National Forest there. I’m thinking about selling or trading this Remington Model 700 in 30-06. Streetstar, Comparing my Model 71 to my Mirokuchester ‘86 EL, the .348 definitely kicks harder to me, at least comparing 200 gr .348 silver tips to 300 grain JHP rounds in the 86. With full power loads after about a box the .348 isn’t very much fun in my opinion. The .348 recoil feels sharper than t...

That's really neat! Is that the original chambering??? Didn't think the '94 action is that strong. -Tutt Yup it's the original chambering, it was made in 2000 offered from Browning, it's a large frame, not the same as the original 30-30win version.
