Re: DRC or Big Horn Armory updates ?????
I just had a nice conversation with David Clay of DRC this morning! He has had some tribulations of late but expects to be back in the swing of this by this spring. I actually just bought my second Large Loop Lever from him. This one was a S/S unit for my Marlin 1894SS. Great customer service BTW! ...

Re: changing out a stock - pistol grip to straight
It's not as difficult as has been let on. It can actually be done with a band saw and a good scribe! I did the same swap on a 336 that started life as a JC Penney 3040. One of the fellas at Marlin Owners actually GAVE me a modified tang that I simply needed to have blued. I bought a used S/G stock ...

Howdy fellers! Try going to ShotgunWorld.com and check out the Stoeger forum thereabouts. You will find varied opinions like with anything. They are imported from Brazil if I'm not mistaken. They are not considered to be high-end by any stretch. They can make good field guns. They are not known for...

Howdy fellers! Have to agree with Griff and Rusty! I've had a Condor for about 6 years that I won working the DU booth at the Rockland County Oudoor Expo in NYS. Great gun for the money! Shoulders beautifully too! Put a Hi-Viz Fiber Optic sight and a steel med bead as well as a Limbsaver buttpad an...

You guys don't get out much do you?! What does Remington have to offer?! Stop by ShotgunWorld.com sometime and see how strong their fan base is! Benneli is not nearly as popular as you might think. Re: OT: Remington posts $39.4 million loss for 2008
I couldn't dissagree with AJD more! As an owner of both Berretta and Remington shotguns; I find that for the average gun buyer Remington fits the bill much better and more often to boot. Think of the Remington 1100 as the F150 or Silverado of semi scatterguns. The Berretta on the other hand is more...

It's gotta be my 336T/A project with the DRC large loop lever! Anybody see the article in A.R. on the Mossy 464?
Did anybody see the article in the new issue of American Rifleman on the new 94 clone by Mossberg? Very fair and seemingly unbiased. I like the fact that they are planning to come out with a higher grade stock in walnut. Maybe I read it wrong; but it sounded like the walnut version of the 30-30 464...

I dunno! I'd really like to get either another 336 in .35 Rem to convert to straight-grip like my other levers.
