a question about the acu'rzr....
Seeing the vastly increased expansion you get, has anyone done any "research" into the increased effect it would have in using the .22 as a "defensive" round??? Don't want a discussion on how "X" caliber is far better (we own .357's and a CZ75 9mm)... Just want to focus...

Re: OT: .45 Autos
Give the CZ brand a look before you plunk down your hard earned cash. They build a good reliable gun at decent prices. As to Nick Nolte in "Extreme Prejudice"....look closer at the close up shots....that isn't a .45 bore!! More like .38 super I think you'll find... but the gun is still bad...

Re: POLITICS - Bye Bye Charlie Gibson / ABC
If you think she did well as you saw it, then you should search out and read the transcripts BEFORE ABC "edited" the interview tapes!! They cut stuff to make her look/sound bad.... reading the WHOLE of her answers makes a whale of a difference, for the better!! Looks like we're in for a wh...

Re: Levergun cartridges on life-support
They have pages to fill each month. And really, how much NEW stuff is there in the gun world??? Making a 1911 shorter, a bolt gun in stainless...wow...... so they dream up these "fluff" stories to fill space. That, or go under! Too many magazines trying to survive with too little stuff to ...

Why do some seem to have this "hang up" over "tax cuts for the evil rich" (liberal's mantra) etc??? Ask yourself this....when was the last time you saw a POOR GUY open a factory/store etc, and hire people/creat jobs etc. Sorry friend....but it has always been the "evil rich&...

Re: COST OF 22 RIMFIRE
But the question remains....WHY such a dramatic jump??? I can see it with military calibers..considering all the armed conflict going on....thus lack of "surplus's.....but .22 rimfire all but doubling??? Come on...... can you say GOUGING????

Peter Eick..... Remember, Cimarron does not MAKE the guns, they have them MADE! They are Uberti's for the most part, made to specs supplied by Cimarron. It's not the product, it's the RESPONSE in question here. ANY company can have a bad part slip by...see that all the time!! It's what happens NEXT ...
