i just got a 96/22M last month. All the lever guns are discontinued as of the last 1/4 2009...
At this time and probably forever Ruger is out of the lever gun business...
Last week I also scored a perfect shape 96/44 at a gun show it is so clean i don't think that Grampa ever fired it...

A Browning BLR in 375 Ruger so that you can take it to Africa as a minimum caliper big game rifle and it still be a lever gun (the power of a 375 H&H in a lever gun).

The 410 Lever rifle sounds intresting but the 410 slug is a little light to me.
Has anyone tried shooting a 45LC in a marlin or winchester 410 lever rifle? What happens? My guess is that the bullet would tumble.
Do they make a rifled choke tube for a 410?
Does anyone use a 410 lever rifle at all?
