My first revolver as a deputy was a mdl 10. I then got the loan of a nickel mdl 19 and carried it for a number of years until the owner wanted it back... didn't need it until she got a new job and needed a .357 revolver. The hitch pin is a chunk of steel about 3" in diameter, the floor plate of the trailer is actually the weak link. Since that tractor was only a 6 wheel day cab it probably weighs between 12-13,000 lbs, whereas my road tractor weight 19,600 empty, and more like 23,000 with fuel & my stuff......
