My most difficult is also one of the easiest. .40-90 Sharp's Bottle Neck. One of the easiest when loaded with BP. Fill the case to the top of the shoulder and plunk a bullet on top. Finding the right bullet can be a bit of chore... But my 1st pick was, if not inspired, at least lucky! I'd long purch...

My two favorite leverguns would be considered abominations by most collectors, since originality and condition seem to bring such high premiums. Yet, to me they're beautiful examples of the "levergun". One started life as a standard late 1970's carbine, the other as a 1967 Canadian Centenn...

The pickup and discharge hoses are long enough... it's the connections for the batter power that're a bit shot! I think I can get my golf cart (has a 12 V starter battery), between the two trucks and run it. Sounds like a "in the morning chore"!

In answer to the spirit of the question... I've never hunted with a handgun. But, I read all the responses with appreciation. The only sixgun I have carried while hunting has been a 45 Colt SAA with a 4-¾" bbl. But, has never been out of its holster while so engaged.
