Re: Giraud Tri-Way trimmer
I have two manual RCBS trimmers, which if I have over dozen or so cases to trim, I chuck up my hand held drill and go to town. I also have an electric RCBS Case Prep station, which can trim, but, without any method of repeatability, I only use it to chamfer case mouths and brush out primer pockets, ...

We are on the cusp of the holiday season, and it goes hard with me that there is an empty chair for Lenn at our table here. Lenn, I hope you and Norma are warm, snug and well-fed -- and that you are dreaming of projects to take your mind off your pain. I wish you both a wonderful Thanksgiving! Your...

Re: I Don't Get This Logic at All
I started reloading because I could make ammo better than what was available in factory fodder. I found that I really enjoyed making my own ammo... even as factory offerings improved and became more diverse. When I started cowboy action shooting in the mi-1980s, factory ammo was easily 10 times the ...

They had me take off everything that could be taken off to repair mine as it was very sloppy and wouldn't align properly. Don't be surprised if you get a new unit back. They upgraded my 550B to the 550C.

I used to have them run thru my pasture all the time, but the neighbor has a small herd of goats and 3-4 guard dogs... no coyotes. Mostly what I used to see was 1 -2, occasionally an adult with a few whelps.

So the choice is much like Americans' choice of cars pre- Toyota, Datsun, Subaru, etc.? I wear a 1-¾" version of the Ranger belt (either a single heavy ply or a 2-ply) as a pants belt now and find it comfortable and as useful as I need today, with only an IWB holster & spare mag pouch. IMO...

Re: 2.25-inch gun belts
The following is simply my opinion based on limited wear of the Ranger style belt. I used the Ranger style belt when in the local Sheriff's Posse, mainly because of it's more "western" appearance. The rest of our gear & tack was "western". Formal dress events, we added a smal...

WOW! I might have to look into getting a wet tumbler. My worst gun for making brass look dirty is my 257 AI. One firing and they look like they have been neglected for years. With 6 1911s, plus a Commander, I'm not exactly shy about them, and probably shoot them almost as well as any of my other handguns. When I was a deputy in CA we could fire one round of PPC for practice every day. I admit, I didn't, but did shoot at least 3, sometimes 4 days a week. Actually, we coul...

I'm guessing your target camera is a good addition to your shooting bag! I can't recommend them highly enough. My first car was a heavily used Mustang Mach 1 that I bought for $600. :D That engine was incredible. Of course it sucked gas like there was no tomorrow, and I was trying to fill it during the oil embargo of the '70's making barely $2/hr. I swear the gas gauge fell if I even looked at the gas pedal...
